During my recent stay at the Dong Khanh Hotel in bustling Ho Chi Minh City, I was truly charmed by the blend of comfort and local culture. We booked a Superior Double room, and while we got an unexpected configuration with a double and a single bed, it worked out just fine for my travel buddy and me, especially since the air conditioning and Wi-Fi were reliable! Exploring District 5 was a highlight-it's vibrant and rich in history, making it the perfect launchpad for sampling the street food and visiting the incredible Binh Tay Market, where you can find everything from textiles to tasty tropical fruits. After a day of adventure, sipping on fresh juices in our smoke-free room was a delight, even if the hallways had hints of smoke. The onsite Dong Khanh café impressed us with its extensive menu of Vietnamese and Western dishes, and I couldn't resist trying the goat noodle soup!
